About the Artist

I'm Peter Mihaichuk, a third-generation sign painter, artist, and Production Designer working in the film and television industry.

My passion for hand-painted lettering and traditional craftsmanship runs deep. Growing up around sign painting, I developed an appreciation for the skill, patience, and character that only comes from work created by hand. Today, I carry that tradition forward through hand-painted signs, pinstriping, and one-of-a-kind artwork created on vintage tools, reclaimed materials, and found objects.

When I'm not behind a paintbrush, I work as a Production Designer for film and television, creating immersive environments and visual worlds for the screen. That experience in storytelling, design, texture, and atmosphere influences everything I create, whether it's a feature film set or a hand-painted vintage saw hanging on a wall.

Every piece I make is painted by hand—no vinyl, no printing, and no shortcuts. I embrace the dents, scratches, and imperfections found in old materials, allowing their history to become part of the finished work. The result is artwork with personality, authenticity, and a story of its own.

Inspired by traditional sign painting, kustom kulture, vintage craftsmanship, roadside Americana, and the beauty of well-worn objects, my goal is simple: to create pieces that feel honest, timeless, and made to be treasured.

In a world increasingly driven by automation and mass production, I believe there is still something special about a brushstroke made by hand.
